The problem
A countdown that’s wrong at the deadline costs you the send.
Black Friday is the send you can't take back. The timer in it has one job: to be right when it's opened.
- Cached timers are wrong at the deadline
- Most timer tools draw a countdown once and cache it for a minute or more. A reader who opens as the sale ends can see time left that isn't there.
- The readers opening then are the ones deciding
- Whoever opens your email at the deadline is deciding right then, and a stale frame is exactly what they'd see.
- Flash Render draws every open
- flashtimer's own engine renders each countdown when the email is opened, accurate to the second. Flash Render never serves a cached copy.
"Most timer tools" is our reading of the public feature lists of the leading email countdown services as of launch; it is a generalisation, not a review of any one product. Compare with a specific tool
The kit
What's in it, and what it costs.
Every figure on the ticket is a list price: the plan's, or the top-up price of the same views. Nothing is counted twice, and the code is in the price, not in the value.
- 1
Pro plan, 3 months
Pro at its list price, 3 months of it: the plan the ticket is priced on. Any paid plan earns the kit.
$105
- 2
The Black Friday Reserve
A full extra month of the plan's views, as top-up credit: used once a month's own views run out, never expiring, and yours if you cancel. Worth what the same views cost as top-up packs.
$40 in top-ups
- 3
Code FLASH20
20% off your first 3 months. It’s in the price you pay, so it isn’t counted again as value.
Total value $145. You pay $84 for 3 months.

Why a kit this big
We launched this autumn. The kit is how we earn our first Black Friday stories. If your send goes well, we’d like to hear about it; if it doesn’t, we’d like to hear that more.
